Funeral services for Jackie Rayford Ragan, 82, of Wills Point were held Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point. Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. He passed away early Sunday morning, March 25, 2018, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 5, 1935, in Wills Point, the son of Rayford Washington Ragan and Mary Catherine Brogden Ragan.

Graveside services for William George Nichol, 82, of Wills Point, was held Friday, April 20, 2018 at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. Services were under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
He passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, in Dallas. He was born July 2, 1935, in Sulphur Springs.

Jerry Beck 1943-2018

 

 

 

Jerry D Beck, 74, a lover of God and family, stepped into glory on Feb. 6, 2018 with loved ones by his side.

He was born in Wills Point in 1943. He graduated from University of North Texas in 1968. He married (Eve)Lyne Loechel in 1975 and together they raised a son, Jeremy Curtis Beck, and two daughters, Breanna Lyne Tomlin and Sabrina Ursula Beck, all who survive him along with grandson, Colton Vance Tomlin, and granddaughters, Desirée Lyne Griffin, Vail Summer Beck and Hadley Jade Tomlin.

Anna Lois Patterson 1930-2018

 

Anna Lois Patterson, 88, Wills Point, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, went to be with her Lord and Savior after a long struggle with cancer surrounded by her family.

She was born Feb. 3, 1930 in Arkansas and grew up in Raymondville. She later married Hughie  Dean “Pat” Patterson Sr. of Texarkana. They lived in Dallas for over 30 years before moving to Wills Point in 1990 and they celebrate 66 years of marriage.

Funeral services for Theil Dane Shastid, 87, of Edgewood, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home. He passed away Feb. 11, 2018, at the VA Nursing Home in Bonham.

He was born Dec. 5, 1930, in Fort Smith, Ark., to the late Robert Lee Shastid and Nellie Grace Villines Shastid. He was the youngest of six children.

Funeral services for Shirley Hunter, 81, of Wills Point, were held Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, at Calvary Baptist Church in Wills Point with Pastor Bill Lundy officiating. Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. She passed away Friday morning, Feb. 9, 2018, in Wills Point.
She was born March 29, 1936, in Sioux City, Iowa. She was raised in Dallas where she attended public school.

In 1976, she moved to Wills Point. For 11 years, she was employed by the Wills Point I.S.D. as a teachers aide, retiring in 1989.

Doris Davis 1919-2018

 

Funeral services for Doris Ola Davis, 98, of Wills Point, were held Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Russell Harris officiating.

Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. She passed away early Friday morning, Feb. 9, 2018, in Wills Point.
She was born on Nov. 19, 1919, in Wills Point, the daughter of Robert Enoch Eskue and Eliza Jane Sprague Eskue.

She was a lifelong resident of Wills Point, where she attended public school and later beauty school. On Nov. 23, 1942, she married Ralph Edward Davis in San Diego, Calif.

Graveside services for Birdie Louise Rinks Mangrum, 94, of the Alsa Community in Wills Point were held Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at White Rose Cemetery.

She was born on Dec. 21, 1923, to the late Martin Luther Rinks and Maude Ann Cox.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Crockett Mangrum; and son, David Roddy Mangrum; one brother, Thomas Rinks; and one sister, Willene Boswell.

Beatrice Conn 1923-2018

 

 

Funeral services for Beatrice H. “Bea” Conn, 94, of Wills Point, were held Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Billy Smith and Rev. Fred Cooper officiating. Interment followed at Ferris Memorial Park in Ferris. She passed away Saturday, Feb.10, 2018, in Grapevine.
She was born Sept. 28, 1923, in Bristol, the daughter of  O. O. Hooper and Addie Lee Robertson Hooper. She was raised in Ferris and graduated from Ferris High School.

On June 3, 1941, she married George Amond Conn in Wilmer. She moved from Jacksonville in the mid 1950’s to make her home in Wills Point.
