Jackie Ragan 1935-2018

Funeral services for Jackie Rayford Ragan, 82, of Wills Point were held Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point. Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. He passed away early Sunday morning, March 25, 2018, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 5, 1935, in Wills Point, the son of Rayford Washington Ragan and Mary Catherine Brogden Ragan.

He lived most of his life in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1955. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

On Nov. 18, 1956, he married Joyce Ann Gramly in Dallas. He was a self-employed plumber for many years, retiring in 1996.  In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and fishing. 

He was a member of the Wills Point Riding and Roping Club and the First Baptist Church in Wills Point.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rayford “Boots” Ragan; mother, Mary Catherine Bland; stepfather, Jack Bland and a sister, Dianna Lewis.
He is survived by wife, Joyce Ann Ragan, of Wills Point; three daughters, Pam Smith and husband, Kurt, of Rice, Carla Roberts and husband, Brady, of Canton and Traci Moore and husband, Tommie, of Tyler;
two brothers, Jerry Ragan and wife, Donna, of Wills Point and Ronald Ragan, of Fruitvale; seven grandchildren, Amanda Roberts, Bryce Smith and wife, Kathleen, Ragan Roberts, Blaine Smith, Cody Moore, Katrina Moore and Jesse Roberts and wife, Kenzie; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bryce Smith, Ragan Roberts, Blaine Smith, Cody Moore, and Jesse Roberts.
