Funeral services for Cecil Eugene Crouch, 79, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Ron Chaney officiating.  Graveside service will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. He passed away Sunday evening, Nov. 25, 2018, at his residence.

He was born on July 15, 1939, in Pecan Gap, the son of Cecil Knox Crouch and Beulah Watson Crouch.  He was raised in Ladonia and graduated from Ladonia High School. 

Carol Jean Welch passed away peacefully into the presence of her Savior on the morning of Nov. 21, 2018. She was born March 29, 1941, in Corsicana and was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Clarence Dewey “C.D.” and Maude Douglas Cates.

She had the voice of an angel, and her family takes comfort in knowing she is now singing with a wonderful angelic choir.

Shel grew up in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1959. She received her bachelor’s in education from Baylor University in 1963.

Funeral services for Dewayn Hale Carter, 83, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

He was born Oct. 16, 1935, in Oneida, Ark. to Annie Hale and Archie Carter.  He grew up in Van where he graduated from high school. 

David Wayne Guynn, 58, Wills Point, passed away Nov. 2, 2018 in Lubbock. 

Funeral services for Charles Curtis Mills, 79, of Van, were held Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church in Edgewood. Burial followed at Haven of Memories in Canton. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

He was born Jan. 1, 1939, in Houston, to parents, Howard Curtis Mills and Sydney Laverne Moon.

He was raised in Channelview and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown.

Funeral services for Candy Pettus, 89, of Terrell, formerly of Wills Point, were held Monday, Nov. 12, 2018, at Rockwall and Brin Church of Christ in Terrell with Mr. Russell Harris officiating. Interment was at Oakland Memorial Park in Terrell under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 8, 2018, in Mesquite.

She was born Sept. 4, 1929, in Wills Point, the daughter of Marvin and Beulah Stafford.  She was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School. 

William Johnson Shields, loving husband and father of four daughters, passed away the morning of July 28, 2018, at the age of 89. 

He was born on Oct. 17, 1928, in Canton, and was the third child of Florence Olive Perry and James Marian Shields. 

Funeral services for Annell Rushing, 87, of Wills Point, were held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Travis Norrell, Rev. Johnnie Herriage and Rev. Owen Rushing officiating. Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. She passed away Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 31, 2018, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 21, 1931, in Blue Ridge, the daughter of Johnnie Columbis White and Alta Vernetta Dunn White.

A Celebration of Life for Adam “A.J.” and Elijah “Eli” Tuma, of Canton, were held Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

A.J. and Eli tragically passed away on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018.

Funeral Mass for Geraldine Mae Kyser, 81, of Wills Point, was held Friday morning, Oct. 26, 2018, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Terrell with Rev. James P. Orosco officiating.

Interment followed at College Mound Cemetery near Terrell under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away early Tuesday morning, Oct. 23, 2018, in Wichita Falls.
