Graveside service for Edra Jan Davis Meek, 66, of Edgewood, was held Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Edgewood with Pastor Chuck Hinton officiating.  Services were under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point. She passed away Tuesday night, Oct. 23, 2018, in Sunnyvale.

She was born March 12, 1952, in Grand Saline, the daughter of Thomas Edward Davis and Doris Jean Vance Davis. 

She was raised in Edgewood and attended Edgewood High School.  She was married to Douglas Foster for 18 years and later married John Meek. 

Funeral services for Betty Morgan Pratt, 90, of Wills Point, were held Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point. Burial was at White Rose Cemetery.  Services were under direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. She passed away Oct. 27, 2018, in Sunnyvale.

She was born May 9, 1928, in Forney, to the late Clint Taylor Morgan and Rubye Jamieson Morgan. 

She was a lifelong resident of Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School, Class of 1945. 

Funeral services for Yvette Tubbs Pinner, 62, of Dallas, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery. She passed away on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at her home.

She was born May 25, 1956, in Grapevine, to parents, Utah Tubbs and Mabel Brown Tubbs. She was raised in Pleasant Grove early on before moving to Fruitvale.

A Celebration of Life for Mattie Louise Maroney Spencer, 77, of Wills Point was held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at the Wills Point Church of Christ with Bro. Carol Baptiste officiating. Internment followed at Greenwood Cemetery in Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home.  

She was born on May 2, 1941, in Kilgore, the daughter of May Donnie Tolbert Maroney and William Maroney.

Funeral services for Robert Lee “Bob” Barker, 88, of North Richland Hills, formerly of Wills Point, were held Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church in New Edinburg, Ark. with Dr. Gene Lindsey officiating.

Interment was at Reaves Cemetery in New Edinburg under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point. He passed away Sunday morning, Oct. 21, 2018, in Fort Worth.

He was born July 15, 1930, in New Edinburg, Ark., the son of Dale Barker and Lydia Belle Thompson Barker.

Funeral services for Monnie Idella Valentine Furrh, 81, of Wills Point, were held Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery. She passed away on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018.

She was born Feb. 28, 1937, in Edgewood, to parents, Raymond Henry Valentine and Opal Viola Baugh. She was raised in Edgewood where she graduated from high school.

Funeral services for Katherine Paige Bridges, 75, of Wills Point, were held Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Mike Donahue officiating. Interment was at Woodall Cemetery north of Wills Point. She passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 20, 2018, in Wills Point.

She was born to Graham Leonard Estler and Willa Barbour Estler on May 12, 1943, in Huntington, W. Va.

She was raised in West Virginia and graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She attended Marshall University in Huntington, W. Va.

Funeral services for Barbara Elsie Glover Little, 80, of Wills Point are scheduled for 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery. She passed away Oct. 17, 2018, at her home, in Wills Point.

She was born Jan. 24, 1938, in Rush Springs, Okla., the third of six children born to Ruby and Edgar P. Glover.

Funeral services for John Wesley Hailey, 78, of Cooper, formerly of Wills Point and Dallas, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Jerry Clements officiating. Interment will follow at Bright Star Cemetery north of Wills Point.
He passed away Tuesday night, Sept. 11, 2018, in Cooper.

He was born Feb. 21, 1940, in Kaufman, the son of James Wesley Hailey and Jaunita Davis Hailey. He was raised in Wills Point and Kaufman, where he attended public school. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Jimmy Don Jones, 67, of Edgewood, formerly of Fruitvale, passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, in Tyler. Interment will be at College Mound Cemetery in Terrell under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point. No services are planned at this time. He was s born Sept. 17, 1950, in Grand Saline.
