Paula Meili 1947-2016

Memorial services for Paula Kay Meili, 68, of Wills Point, were held Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.

Mrs. Meili died Thursday afternoon, Feb. 11, 2016, in Wills Point.

She was born Dec. 31, 1947, in Beaver Dam, Wis., the daughter of Victor and Carolyn Mills.  She was raised in Fox Lake, Wis., where she graduated from Waupun High School.   She married Howard Hull and they were married for 18 years.

Harry Reaves 1925-2016

Harry Tracy Reaves Jr., 90, of Colfax, died Feb.21, 2016.

He was born Mar. 4, 1925, to Harry Tracy Reaves Sr. and Annie Mae (Bailey) Reaves on the family farm near Colfax. He attended Mt. Gibson School and graduated from Van High School in 1942.

He served in the U.S Navy during World War II as an Aviation Electrician's Mate 1st Class aboard the aircraft carrier USS Bairoko. During his three year service, he received the Victory, American Campaign and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign medals.

Dewey Hipp, Jr. 1939-2016

Funeral services for Dewey Leon Hipp, Jr., 76, of Wills Point, were held Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.  Interment was at Small Cemetery in Edgewood.

Mr. Hipp died suddenly Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 16, 2016 at his residence in Wills Point.

Chester Burnett 1921-2016

Funeral services for Chester C. Burnett, 94, of Belton, were held Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Darren Walker. 

Burial followed at the North Belton Cemetery.

Mr. Burnett died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, in a Temple Nursing Center.

He was born July 31, 1921, in Wills Point.

Bobby Londenberg 1945-2016

A gathering of friends and family for Bobby Keith Londenberg, 71, of Edgewood, was held Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood.

Mr. Londenberg died Feb. 22, 2016.

He was born Feb. 7, 1945, in Dallas, to parents Girard Robert Londenberg and Elizabeth Roxie Londenberg.  He was raised in the Dallas area, where he attended a Catholic School.

Tommie Cunigan 1929-2016

Funeral services for Tommie Loraine Cunigan, 87, of Wills Point, were held Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at Saint Mark Christian Methodist Episcopal Church under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Burial followed at Haven of Memories in Canton.

Mrs. Campbell was born Feb. 10, 1929, in Ore City to Annie Campbell and Tommie Campbell.  As a child, she and her nine siblings were members of the Pine Grove Baptist Church where their mother was the Sunday School Superintendent.

Shirley Jeffcoat 1939-2016

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Hill Jeffcoat, 77, of Mesquite formerly of Edgewood, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial will follow at Small Cemetery in Edgewood.

Mrs. Jeffcoat died Feb. 13, 2016.

She was born Jan. 31, 1939, in Edgewood to parents, Calvin Joseph Hill and Helen Marie Harvey.

She grew up in the community and attended school in Edgewood. She lived in and around the Dallas and Mesquite areas. She was an inspector for the Dallas Independent School District where she retired.

Funeral services for Sharon Anne Green, 74, of Van, were held Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point. 

Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.

Ms. Green died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, in Van.

Mahala Bell Bates, 84, of Edgewood, died Feb. 10, 2016, in Arlington.

She was Aug. 24, 1931, in Hermleigh.

Services are planned for a later date under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

James Whitaker 1934-2016

Memorial services for James Roland “Jim” Whitaker, 81, of Wills Point, were held Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Chaplain Richard Moore officiating. 

Mr. Whitaker died Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 10, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born Dec. 18, 1934, in Jamesport Mo., the son of Henry Russell Whitaker and Sarah Ruth Curtis Whitaker. 

He was raised in Jamesport, where he attended public school.  He was a veteran of the United States Army for 20 years, retiring March 31, 1977.
