Memorial services for Jack Orson Cates, 85, of Wills Point, formally of Emporia, Kan. are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mr. Cates died Feb. 9, 2016, in Quinlan.

He was born July 1, 1930, in Newton, Kan.

Funeral services for Dorothy Lamb Davis of Garland, were held Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery.

Mrs. Davis died Feb. 11, 2016, at the age of 89. She was surrounded by her loving family in her home in Garland where she had lived for 58 years. 

She leaves four daughters, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.  All knew her well, and flocked to her home for holiday gatherings around her table.

Funeral services for Billy Frank Nix, Sr., 82, of Forney, were held Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, at St. Martin of Tours in Talty. 

Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mr. Nix died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, in Dallas.

He was born Feb. 8, 1934, in Greenville.

Private memorial services for Waltraud Hedwig Pleasant, 81, of Rowlett will be held Feb. 13, 2016. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Ms. Pleasant died Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, in Rowlett.

She was born July 10, 1934, in Nuremberg, Germany.

Visitation services for Jimmy Alex Buckley, 75, of Wills Point, were held Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point. 

Interment was Tuesday morning at Myrtle Springs Cemetery south of Wills Point.

Mr. Buckley died Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, in Wills Point.

He was born on May 5, 1940, in Wills Point.

Funeral services for Mary Lou Early, 84, of Royse City, were held Jan. 29, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.  Interment was in Simmons Cemetery in Cash.

Ms. Early died Wednesday Jan. 27, 2016, in Royse City.

She was born Nov. 12, 1931, in Fort Worth.

Kathryn Elaine Capp, of Wills Point, a loving wife, mother and grandmother went to be with her Lord Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016. 

Mrs. Capp was born Oct. 26, 1951, in El Paso, a daughter of the late Raymond Kirsch and Frances Kirsch.

She was a member of Lakeview Church where she loved praising her Lord and Savior.  She was also a RN nurse at Crestwood Nursing Home where she loved her residents and co-workers very dearly.

Funeral services for Judith McBride Coffey, 63, of Farmers Branch, were held Jan. 30, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.  Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.

Ms. Coffey died Jan. 26, 2016, in Irving.

She was born Feb. 26, 1952.

Services for James Ray Grisham were held Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Chapel in Mabank with Mike Nelson officiating.

Interment followed the service at Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank.

Mr. Grisham was born Oct. 12, 1935, in Van Zandt County to parents Ernest Grisham and Maggie Childs and died Jan. 27, 2016, at the age of 80.

Private memorial services for Rickey Gene Smith, 60, of Payne Springs, will be held at a later date.

Mr. Smith died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at East Texas Medical Center in Athens.

He was born Nov. 15, 1955, in Dallas.
