Bobby Londenberg 1945-2016

A gathering of friends and family for Bobby Keith Londenberg, 71, of Edgewood, was held Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood.

Mr. Londenberg died Feb. 22, 2016.

He was born Feb. 7, 1945, in Dallas, to parents Girard Robert Londenberg and Elizabeth Roxie Londenberg.  He was raised in the Dallas area, where he attended a Catholic School.

He married Patricia Ann Seay Feb. 13, 1967, and they made their home in Pleasant Grove. They moved to the Edgewood community in 1970 to raise their children.  He worked in Arlington for Jones Truck Lines and received numerous safe driving awards.  He was a truck driver, dock worker and hoister for 20 plus years before retiring.  He served on the Edgewood Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He loved listening to music, working on old cars and collecting Elvis memorabilia.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Girard and Rosa Lee Londenberg; wife, Patricia A. Londenberg; sons, Rocky Turner and Guy Cyr; and sister, Sonya Greer.

He is survived by daughters, Debra Mathis and husband, Mark of Edgewood, Denise Heath and husband, George of Mesquite, Teresa Gray and husband, David of Edgewood and Peggy McEnturff and husband, Robert of Edgewood; son, Cris Cyr of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
