Darrell Gene Peery, 46, of Wills Point, died Sunday, July 17, 2016, in Wills Point.  No services are planned at this time.  Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mr. Peery was born May 26, 1970, in California.

A visitation was held for William “Bill” E. Sledd, 70, of Edgewood, July 19, 2016, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mr. Sledd died on July 14, 2016.

He was born on Sept. 26, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo.

Services for Peggy Gossett Jones, 76, of Fruitvale, were held July 13, 2016, at Bartley Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Herring and Sis. Delana Wheeler officiating.

Interment was in Creagleville Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones died July 11, 2016, at her home in Fruitvale. 

She was born Feb. 24, 1940, in Winfield.

Graveside services for Joyce Carmen Foster, 74, of Henderson, were held Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.  Services were under direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mrs. Foster died July 1, 2016, in Tyler.

She was born April 28, 1942. 

A Funeral Mass for Jose Antonio “Tony” Lopez, 25, is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at St. Luke Catholic Church in Wills Point. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.

Mr. Lopez passed away in the early morning hours on July 9, 2016, in Dallas, after a motor vehicle accident on July 1, 2016.

Graveside services for Donald Gene Poynter, 76, of Edgewood, were held Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Motley Cemetery in Mesquite.  Services are under direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mr. Poynter died July 1, 2016, at his home in Edgewood.

He was born in Dallas.

Funeral services for David Earl Baker, 56, of Wills Point, were held July 13, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Monty Jones officiating. Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery near Wills Point

Mr. Baker died early July 10, 2016, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 4, 1959, in Wills Point, the son of Leon Baker and Selma York Baker.  He was a lifelong resident of Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1978.

Funeral services for Sim Roy Caldwell, 87, of Wills Point, were held Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point. Interment followed at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite, under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Mr. Caldwell died June 29, 2016.

Funeral services for Ruby DeLois Baggett, 74, of Arlington and formerly of Wills Point, were held June 29, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.  Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.

She died June 26, 2016, in Arlington.

She was born Feb. 1, 1942, in Wills Point.
