Funeral services were held for Tommy Edward Brazel, 69, of Wills Point,  Aug. 11, 2016, at First Assembly of God in Wills Point.

Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Mr. Brazel died Aug.7, 2016.

He was born on June 8, 1947, in Dallas.

A requiem mass was held for Juan Davila Jr., 88, of Terrell, July 29, 2016, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Terrell. A rosary service was held the evening before at the church.

Mr. Davila died July 26, 2016.

He was born on Jan. 28, 1928, in San Benito, to parents Juan Davila Sr. and Guadalupe Moreno. He graduated from Brownsville High School. He married Margaret Frances Scott on July 21, 1950, in Brownsville and they moved to Irving in 1955. They moved to Terrell in 1966 where they made their home and he resided until his death.

Services for Ima Vernell Daugherty, 83, of Wills Point, were held July 18, 2016, at the Eubank Funeral Chapel in Canton with Bro. Steve Glosup and Pam Daugherty officiating.  Interment was in Haven of Memories.

Mrs. Daugherty died July 14, 2016, in Wills Point.  She was born Aug. 6, 1932, in Wills Point where she resided most of her life.  She was one of eight children born to Fred and Bessie Baker. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; two brothers; husband, Johnny F. Daugherty Sr. and a son, Freddie Daugherty.

Visitation service for Diana Ruth Rockey, 69, of West Tawakoni, was held Aug. 4, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point. 

Ms. Rockey died Aug. 1, 2016, in Greenville.

She was born Sept. 19, 1946, in Irving.

Funeral services for Dedria Rae Turner, 28, of Wills Point, were held July 30, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Tim Mabe officiating. 

Mrs. Turner died July 27, 2016, at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler.

She was born May 26, 1988, in Bradenton, Fla., the daughter of Michael Ray Eddy and Debra Kelsheimer Eddy-Osborn. 

A memorial was held for Angus Archibald McKenzie, 83, of Grand Saline, Aug. 2, 2016, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mr. McKenzie died July 29, 2016.

He was born on Feb. 28, 1933, in Madras, India.

A visitation was held for William “Bill” E. Sledd, 70, of Edgewood, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mr. Sledd died on July 14, 2016.

William Edward Sledd was born on Sept. 26, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo.

Thomas Glenn Savage, 67, died peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2016, at The Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.  He was born April 20, 1949, in the small town of Grand Saline, to parents Thomas and Louise Savage.  

A memorial luncheon/potluck was held Saturday, July 30, 2016, with memorial services following at the Round Flat Pentecostal Church, 3480 CR 1910, Fruitvale.

A graveside service was held for Clara Loretta (Reta) Todd Moody, 84, of Edgewood on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Mrs. Moody died July 23, 2016.

She was born on Dec. 22, 1931, in El Dorado, Okla.

A memorial service was held for James “Ray” Rogers, 78, of Wills Point,  was held Saturday, July 23, 2016, at New Release Baptist Church in Wills Point.

The family received friends one hour prior to the memorial. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Mr. Rogers died on July 21, 2016.
