Funeral services for Mary Helen Campbell (affectionately known as “Granny Mary”), 83, of Edgewood were held Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Edgewood, officiated by Rev. Jim Ballard and Bishop Casey Cook. Burial followed at Small Cemetery north of Edgewood. Services are under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood.

Lisa Guynn

1964-2017

Memorial services for Lisa Kay Guynn, 53, of Wills Point, were held Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, at the Edgewood Church of Christ with Mr. Larry DeLong officiating.  Services were under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away Wednesday morning, Feb. 22, 2017, in Tyler surrounded by her family.

John Turner

1945-2017

Funeral services for John Edward Turner, 72, of Wills Point, were held Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point.

Burial was held Friday, Feb. 24, 2017, at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Services were under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Daisy Stratton

1937-2017

Daisy Doreen Stratton, 79, of Wills Point passed away on Feb. 23, 2017, in Tyler.

 No services are planned at this time.  Arrangements were under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She was born July 14, 1937, in Lubbock

Elizabeth Butler

Funeral services for Elizabeth Jane Sockwell Butler, 77, of Wills Point, were held Friday, Feb. 17, 2017, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor David Cartwright officiating.

Interment followed at the Howell Cemetery north of Wills Point.

Thomas Joseph Murphy

1939-2017

Thomas Joseph Murphy, 77, of Edgewood, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, in Wills Point. No services are planned at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Sylvia Jo Sims

Funeral services for Sylvia Jo Sims, 81, of Edgewood were held Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Edgewood under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.  Burial followed at Haven of Memories in Canton.

Finis Gray Flanagan

Funeral services for Finis Gray Flanagan, 86, Forney, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Canton.

Burial will follow at Haven of Memories Memorial Park under the direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home.

Cathy Kay Miller

A memorial service for Cathy Kay Miller, 64, of Wills Point, is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church in Edgewood with the Rev. Alan Van Hooser officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

Ms. Miller passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, in Grand Saline.

Suzanne Stanley

1939-2017

Memorial services for Suzanne Stanley, 78, of Garland are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at Tree of Life Lutheran Church with Pastor Clint Thorson officiating.

Graveside services will be held at Haven of Memories Memorial Park at a later date to be officiated by Pastor David Cartwright.  She passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, surrounded by her children.

She was born in Waxahachie to Casley and Susie DeGrand, and was raised in Midlothian. She married Samuel W. Stanley in 1961.  She was a legal secretary and real estate broker.  She was a member of St. Phillips United Methodist Church in Garland.
