Nannie Harris 1919-2015

Funeral services for Nannie Blanche Harris, 96, of Dallas, were held Monday, July 20, 2015, at Hiett’s LyBrand Chapel in Wills Point. Burial was at Hooker Ridge Cemetery in Lone Oak.

Nannie passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2015.

Mildred Green 1919-2015

Funeral services for Mildred Alene Green, 96, of Wills Point, were held Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Don Tisdale officiating.  Interment followed in the Green family plot at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. 

On the morning of July 20, 2015, Mildred passed away peacefully of natural causes at her home in Wills Point.  She was surrounded by her loving family when she stepped into the shining light of God at the age of 96.

Visitation service for Charles Quitman Allgood, 28, of Lucedale, Miss., was held  Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.  Funeral service was held at George County Funeral Home in Lucedale, Miss.

He passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015, near Wills Point.

Charles was born July 22, 1986, in Lucedale, Miss.

Linda Bane 1944-2015

Funeral services for Linda Bane, 71, of Wills Point, were held Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point. Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery, in Wills Point.

Linda passed away July 9, 2015, in a Dallas hospital.

Linda Lou Eppelheimer was born March 30, 1944, in Fairbury, Ill., to Wayne and Mildred Weber Eppelheimer. She lived in Illinois until moving to Texas in 1979.

Linda married James Bane, on Aug. 31, 1979, in Edgewood. They made their home in Wills Point where Linda was employed with Wills Point Independent School District as head custodian at the Jr. High and also drove a school bus for many years. Linda enjoyed sewing, baking, watching cooking shows on television and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Linda was a Christian.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Eppelheimer; nephew, Clayton Hale and brother-in-law, Alan Janaskie.

Lady Wright 1927-2015

Funeral services for Lady J. Wright, 87, of Edgewood, were held Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Lady passed away July 10, 2015, at a Tyler hospital.

Lady J. Wilder was born Nov. 16, 1927, to the late Jesse Wilder and Zilla Brooks Wilder.  She accepted Christ at the age of eight and was baptized in the Old Club Lake of Edgewood.  Lady married William Morris Wright May 5, 1945, and during his military career they lived in various places, including Italy, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Alaska and Japan.

John Hill 1936-2015

Funeral services for John Edward Hill, 78, of Wills Point, were held  Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Mack Swain officiating.  Interment was at Woodside Cemetery in Grand Saline.

He passed away Thursday night, July 9, 2015, in a Kaufman hospital.

John was born Nov. 24, 1936, in Wichita Falls, the son of Oliver Hill and Myrtle Satterfield Hill.  He was raised in Wichita Falls where he attended public school.  On Jan. 24, 1978, he married Windle Nadine McFatridge in Mesquite.  John was employed by L.T.V. in Grand Prairie, retiring in the mid 1970’s.  He lived in Mesquite prior to moving to Wills Point thirteen years ago.  John was of the Assembly of God faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Myrtle Hill; two sons, Troy Hill and Russell Hill and three brothers, Kenneth Hill, Herman Hill and James Hill.

David Patterson 1961-2015

David Glenn Patterson, 53, of Wills Point, went to be with is Lord and Savior Saturday, July 11, 2015, at his residence. Funeral services celebrating David’s life were held Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Bible Baptist Church, 9813 FM 751 Quinlan, with Brother Robert Siddall officiating. Graveside services followed at Concord Cemetery at FM 778 and CR 3250 near Quitman.

David was born Dec. 19.1961, in Bryan. He is the son of Donald Wayne Patterson and Georgia Elizabeth Hargett Patterson. He was raised and educated in Mesquite and later he moved to Muleshoe and graduated in 1980 from Muleshoe High School. David worked several years on drilling rigs in the oil field. He was presently a lieutenant for the Rolling Oaks Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, yard work and painting.

Bobby Parker 1937-2015

Funeral services for Bobby B. Parker, 78, of Edgewood, were held Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Edgewood. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.  Services were under direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Edgewood.

Bobby Passed away July 12, 2015, in Tyler.

Bobby Brooks Parker was born June 4, 1937, in Edgewood to the late Enoch Cornelius Parker and Grace Lucille Wilder Parker. Bobby attended public school in Edgewood and following graduation, he attended Kilgore Junior College and East Texas State University.  An outstanding football player, Bobby earned All-Conference and All-American honors and was drafted by the Oakland Raiders.

Bobby worked as a teacher and coach in the Kaufman, Mesquite and Edgewood School Districts for 33 years, providing inspiration and guidance to generations of students.

Linda Roberts, 65, of Wills Point was born Feb. 28, 1950, and died July 1, 2015.  Services were held at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral in Wills Point Monday, July 6, 2015. Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery, Wills Point.

John Palmer Jr. 1945-2015

Funeral services for John Joseph Palmer Jr., 69, of Wills Point, were held Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Frank Corry officiating. 

He passed away Friday afternoon, July 3, 2015, in Wills Point.

John was born on Oct. 28, 1945, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the son of John Joseph Palmer Sr. and Margaret Ruth Sheldon Palmer.  He attended Millvale High School in Pittsburgh, Pa.  On Oct. 27, 1990, he married Diane Jensen in Lewisville.  John retired from Spec Wheels of Forney.  He enjoyed collecting eagles and model trains.  John loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren.  He lived in Lewisville prior to moving to Wills Point in 1991.  John was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Margaret Palmer; sister, Anna Bea Bryant; two brothers-in-law, Pete Pribila and Butch Jensen; sister-in-law, Gloria Aguilar and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Selma Jensen.
