Wills Point High School will have a new daily bell schedule when school resumes Aug. 24, school officials said.
First period will be from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m.; second period from 9:19 to 10:13 a.m.; third, 10:16 to 11:11 a.m.; fourth, 11:14 a.m. to 12:09 p.m.; fifth, 12:12 to 1:36 p.m.; sixth, 1:40 to 2:34 p.m.; and seventh, 2:38 to 3:32 p.m.
Lunch A will be from 12:12 to 12:42 p.m. and lunch B will be from 1:06 to 1:36 p.m.
Mandatory tutoring times will be during zero period – 7:45 to 8:15 a.m. and eighth period, 3:32 to 4 p.m.
According to school officials, zero and eighth periods will be assigned to students requiring mandatory tutoring for end-of-course exams.
Optional tutoring and homework help will be available from all teachers during zero and eighth periods and “it is the responsibility of the learner to access extra help when needed,” school officials said.
