“Blind Date with a Book” at the WP Junior High Library

Courtesy photo

Aaron Hardman, Cade Phillips and Christian Zincke were all smiles as they prepared for their date.

Wills Point Junior High students are enjoying great evenings with their blind dates! During this season of love and valentines, students can choose a gift bag with clues about a book, but they do not know what the book is until they open it at home. With this fun experience, they end up spending time with a genre or author they might not have otherwise enjoyed. Students then rate their “date,” letting others know if their date was “love at first sight,” amazing, or disastrous.
