Sharp shooting and strong defensive play helped propel the Lady Tigers to an 18-7 lead after one quarter of play. Things continued to favor Wills Point on both ends of the court in the second quarter as the Lady Tigers outscored Sunset 17-6 to take a commanding 35-13 lead into the half.

Sunset and Wills Point combined to score just six points combined in the third before another Lady Tiger outburst down the stretch pushed the final margin separating the two teams to 31 points.

Wills Point continued its strong play in the bronze division finals, downing the Spruce Timberwolves 53-15.

The Lady Tigers dominated the contest on the defensive end of the court, allowing just five points overall in the first half. The relentless defensive effort carried into the third quarter where Wills Point outscored the Timberwolves 19-2 to establish a 36-7 lead.

With the game well out of hand already, the Lady Tigers closed out their impressive play with a 17-8 run in the fourth quarter.
