Sixteen receive All-Region recognition

The Wills Point Tiger Band put together another strong showing in a competitive setting Dec. 3 with 16 students receiving Region 3 ATSSB All-Region Band recognition.
The Wills Point Tiger Band program continued to generate good news and positive momentum into the Christmas break last week, announcing that 16 students from the high school at been selected to the Region 3 ATSSB All-Region Band.
News of the high school band's success comes on the heels of a previous announcement by the junior high program that 35 of its students had been named to the All-Region Symphonic Band, All-Region Concert Band or All-Region Alternates in Ferris Nov. 29.
High school band students had their All-Region Contest Dec. 3, traveling to Mabank High School to compete against other area students.
