Lindy Sledge 1947-2018

Lindy Lee Sledge was born in Wills Point to Bobbye Ruth Lindhorst and Sterling E. Sledge. He attended Wills Point High School until 1963.
He moved to Stephenville and graduated from Stephenville High School in 1964. Stephenville was his home where he married and reared a family.
He is survived by his daughter, Cassondra Gayle Petty; grandson, Daniel Petty; and sister, Sandra Baumann.
His parents, Sterling Sledge, Bobbye Sledge Thurmon and stepfather, Olan Thurmon; son, Robert Lee Sledge; brothers, Truman and Roe Wayne Sledge proceeded him in death.
After cremation, a memorial was held Oct. 27, 2018, at the Cowboy Church of Erath County.
