Graveside services for Mary Jeanette Lyle, 92, Wills Point, were held Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola, officiated by Russell Harris. Mrs. Lyle passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017.

She was born in Kingman, Kan. May 23, 1925, to the late Clarence E. and Pearl Irene Payne.  Mrs. Lyle was a resident of Crestwood Nursing Home in Wills Point for the last several years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thad Lyle; son, Ben Frank Lyle; two brothers, John Payne and Frank Payne; two sisters, Margaret Gilmore and Edna Dean.

Survivors include two sons, Steve Lyle of Hawkins, Mike Lyle and wife, Jan of Wills Point; two daughters, Mary Ellen Tyler and husband, Paul of Lindale, Julie Whitaker and husband, Gary of Quinlan; daughter-in-law Mi Lyle of Fairfield, Calif.; four granddaughters, Cari, Kimberly, Alicia and Natalie; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
