VBS coming to Turner Baptist next week

Turner Baptist Church is inviting all children of the Wills Point area to join them for SonWest Roundup VBS.

The church is hosting a Western Round Up party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday June 4. The event will include the Pistoleros (gunfight re-enactors, a water slide, bounce house, pony rides, wagon rides and food.

It will be a peek at what VBS will be like, organizers said.

VBS is set from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 6 through 10.

“We’re ready for a Vacation Bible School your children will never forget,” said Pastor Fred Cooper. “At SonWest Roundup your kids will find ultimate truth in Jesus! Children will have a great time singing sons, watching skits, creating crafts and playing games. But most important, they’ll discover Jesus provides what they truly need in every challenge of life.

“We’re looking forward to sharing this exciting event with the children and family in our neighborhood. We hope they will all join us at SonWest Roundup.”
