Corn Hole Tournament returning to Free State Jubilee
Grab your partner and start practicing your tossing skills as the Free State Jubilee will be hosting a Corn Hole Tournament for adults.
The Free State Jubilee is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 18 at The Arbors on First Monday grounds in Canton.
The winning corn hole team in the tournament will win a cash prize of $200 for being the tournament champion. The second place team will earn $100 and third place , $50.
The entry fee for the adult tournament will be $20 for each team which will consist of two members.
The contest will be conducted by following the rules set forth by the American Corn Hole Association. Visit the association’s website www.playcornhole.org to review the rules.
The Free State Jubilee organizers reserve the right to make any changes deemed necessary to carry out the tournament at the local level, Melisa Rhodes, VZC extension agent said.
The free family fun day will have educational booths, carnival-type games, a canning contest, homemade ice cream contest and a vegetable
competition for homegrown produce.
There will also be bounce houses and activities for kids.
