Bright Star Homecoming Set for May 15

The annual Memorial Day Homecoming for the Bright Star Cemetery Association will begin at 11:30 a.m. May 15 at the Cemetery grounds. 

Business will include election of officers, maintenance of the grounds, explanation of funds placed with Edward Jones Investments and any other old or new business, organizers said.

A letter has been mailed to the family addresses on file with names that appear on the records that we do not have contact information.

“Lunch will be served at noon so bring a favorite dish, table and chairs and enjoy the fellowship,” organizers said.

The cemetery is located on North Highway 47 just past Farm to Market Road 1395, approximately eight miles from Wills Point. The event is open to the public.
