Fred Sudderth 1935-2016
Funeral services for Fred Thomas Sudderth, 80, of Wills Point, were held Jan. 20, 2016, at Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home in Wills Point.
Burial followed at White Rose Cemetery.
Mr. Sudderth died Jan.17, 2016, in Greenville.
He was born Dec. 7, 1935, in Bailey to parents, Vernon Henry Sudderth and Gladys Delia Chapman. He was raised in the Gober community and attended school in Bonham. He graduated college at East Texas State University with a degree in agriculture. He married Frances Snider in Dallas Dec. 17, 1999. He lived in Dallas most of his life, but moved to Lake Tawakoni and has been there since 2000.
He worked as a building engineer in the West End district of Dallas. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a hard worker that enjoyed working on cars and fishing on Lake Tawakoni.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Gladys Sudderth.
He is survived by his wife, Fran Sudderth of Wills Point; sons, Joe Sudderth and wife, Pam of Wills Point, Terry L. Sudderth and wife, Martha of Mobil, Ala. and Michael J. Sudderth of Dallas; sister, Billie Cline of Bonham; granddaughters, Natosha and Andrea; and four great- grandchildren.
