Gladys “June” Watson 1932-2015
A private graveside service for Gladys “June” Stephens Watson, 83, of Keller, formerly of Tyler, was held on Dec. 6, 2015, in White Rose Cemetery under direction of Hiett’s LyBrand Funeral Home, Wills Point.
Mrs. Watson died Dec. 4, 2015, in Dallas.
She was born June 9, 1932, in Wills Point to Thomas J. and Mary Henderson Stephens. She was a graduate of Wills Point High School. In November 1953, she became the wife of LeRoy Watson, a U.S. Army medic who served his country during World War II. She was an avid bridge player and devoted her life to her husband and children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Stephens; husband, LeRoy Watson; brothers, Fred Stephens and T.J. Stephens; and her sisters, Jo Hooser and Dot McElveen.
She is survived by her children, Mark Watson and wife, Betty of Trophy Club and Kevin Watson and wife, Allison of Hurst; grandchildren, Brad Watson of Lewisville and Michael Watson and wife, Samantha of Bedford; great-granddaughter, Kaia of Bedford; and step-granddaughter, Emmalee Toland of Hurst.
