Wills Point High School Life Skills students have toured several local businesses to see how they operate during the 2018-’19 school year. Stops have included the Wills Point Post Office as well as The Print Project.

In support of our current Government/Community unit of instruction, the Wills Point High School Life Skills students, with teachers Christopher Rotan and Christy Wilson, have visited several local businesses to see how they operate including the Wills Point Post Office and Print Project.

Postmaster Bruce Morphis and staff members offered a behind-the-scenes tour and answered questions from the students on the group’s trip to the post office.

During a writing lesson prior to the trip, students prepared a letter to a person of their choice and addressed an envelope for mailing. While at the post office, students purchased postage and were shown the real-time processing of their letters.

The Life Skills students made its trip to The Print Project Dec. 6, getting a first hand look at how the business operates from owner David Grace and staff members. The trip included students designing and printing their own shirts to take home.

The Life Skills class plans to continue visiting local businesses and agencies to gain a better understanding our community's resources.
