The Wills Point Historical Society will be hosting a Christmas Tour of Homes event for the second consecutive years. Stops on the tour will include the homes of Janice and Roger Moore, Charles and Jan Rogers, Gerald and Lyn Haney, and Herschel and Linda LyBrand.

Organizers behind some of the biggest holiday events of the season are working hard this week, looking to put the finishing touches on this year’s installment of local Christmas staples.

This year’s holiday events, scheduled for Dec. 8 locally, will also include a mix of old and new events including the return of the Wills Point Historical Society’s Christmas Tour of Homes.

The Tour of Homes, which will take place from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 8, will serve as a fundraiser for the historical society. Stops are scheduled to include the homes of Janice and Roger Moore (11 Hillside Drive), Charles and Jan Rogers (202 E. James St.), Gerald and Lyn Haney (550 County Road 3718) and Herschel and Linda LyBrand (288 Post Oak Road).

Tickets, which are good for all four stops on this year’s tour, are $15 each. They will be available for purchase on the night of the event from any of the four homes on the tour.

Profiles of the featured homes will be published in the Nov. 30 and Dec. 7 editions of the Wills Point Chronicle.
