Fill the Boot

The Wills Point Volunteer Fire Department set up shop at the intersection of North Fourth and James Streets Oct. 20 in order to collect funds for the annual Fill the Boot campaign benefitting the Muscular Dystrophy Association. According to the MDA, the Fill the Boot campaign was launched in 1954, raising milions of dollars to date for both the research of treatments and cures for neuromuscular diseases and to provide funds for comprehensive medical services to adults and children with neuormuscular diseases.
