Funeral services for Glyn Juanita Shelby, 88, of Wills Point, were held Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Ken Maddox officiating. Interment was at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point.
She passed away Thursday afternoon, Feb.15, 2018, in Wills Point surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 16, 1930, in Pattonville, the daughter of John Wesley Ray and Elsie Lee Cotton Ray. She was raised in Red River County, where she attended public school.

On Sept. 7, 1946, she married Jesse Lawrence Shelby in Clarksville. In 1955, they moved to Dallas and in 1964, they made their home in Edgewood.

On April 29, 1999, Jesse preceded her in death and Glyn later married Lamar Keith. She was formerly employed as a seamstress for Malouf Manufacturing Company in Wills Point and did contract work as a seamstress, retiring in 2005.

After retirement, she worked at the Heritage Park in Edgewood. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and having fun with her family. She was a member of the Edgewood Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Wesley and Elsie Lee Ray; husband, Jesse Shelby; and mother-in-law, Nannie Shelby.
She is survived by husband, Lamar Keith, of Grove, Okla.; four daughters, Barbara Storbeck and husband, Rodney, of Wills Point, Jo Ann Daugherty and husband, Charles, of Wills Point, Sue Travis and husband, Jerry, of Wills Point and Phyllis Shelby, of Tyler; step-daughter, Debra Dunn and husband, Larry, of Colorado; step-son, Jim Keith and wife, Karen, of Edmond, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Jeff Travis and wife, Amber, of Carthage, Laura Beckett and husband, John, of Edgewood, Tammy Cooper of Wills Point, Kim Davis of Edgewood, Lisa Overton and husband, Ray, of Edgewood, Amanda Hollister and husband, Jeremy, of Wills Point, Jesse Daugherty and wife, Jennifer, of Edgewood; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Neal Travis, Alan Travis, Michael Bostick, Ray Overton, Levi Overton, and Jeremy Hollister.
