Memorial playground crosses important threshold

The proposed Hardman Watson Memorial Playground, honoring the lives of five locals who passed away in a tragic accident on their way to the vacation of a lifetime to Florida in November 2014.
Wills Point primary school teacher Trudi Hardman, her husband Michael, who was employed at John F. Kennedy Elementary in Terrell at the time of the accident, and three children from their blended family (Adam and Kaci Hardman and Dakota Watson), lost their lives in a single-vehicle accident that shook the Wills Point community.
Since that time, efforts have been underway to honor the lives of those lost with the construction of a memorial playground.
