Ag mechanics team competes in San Antonio

The Wills Point FFA ag mechanics team traveled to the San Antonio Agricultural Mechanics Show recently, bringing home numerous top finishes in a variety of categories at the event.

The ag mechanics team members making the trip to San Antonio included Cody Carroll, Grant Malone, Bryan Mitchell, Jesse Brown, Noe Gomez, Josh Hull, Trevor Harrell and Seth Sherwood.

Results included the team of team of Josh Hull and Jesse Brown receiving first place with their 8' cattle feeder on skids in Class 304; the team of Trevor Harrell, Noe Gomez and Seth Sherwood winning second place with their 8'x16' backyard shop; the team of Jesse Brown, Bryan Mitchell and Grant Malone receiving a blue ribbon for exhibiting their tractor mounted boom; and Cody Carroll and Grant Malone receiving a blue ribbon for their 12' entry gate.

The ag mechanics team will look to build on its success in March as they travel to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for competition.
