Curtain drops on Lady Tigers season

The Wills Point Lady Tigers closed out their 2016-’17 season at home Tuesday night, welcoming the Canton Eaglettes to town on Senior Night. Wills Point connected on just four field goals in the game, two baskets in each half, falling 55-16 to the playoff bound Eaglettes.
Prior to tipoff, the Tiger athletic program took a break to honor four student-athletes appearing in the final game in uniform as members of the Lady Tiger program: Meredith Edwards, Brooke Futch, Emily Smith and Adrianna Holland.
The accomplishments of all four players were announced as the quartet was escorted onto the court by family members.
