Funeral services for Russylea Hendrix Caple, 91, of Wills Point, were held Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at the Wills Point Church of Christ with Mr. Russell Harris and Mr. Alvis Nichols officiating.  Interment followed at White Rose Cemetery under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point. She passed away Saturday afternoon, Jan. 7, 2017, in Wills Point.
She was born Jan.14, 1925, in Edgewood, to Charles Alexander Hendrix and Arizona Wade Hendrix.  She was raised in the Morince Community north of Edgewood. On June 23, 1946, she married Solon South Caple, Jr. in Dallas. She loved her family very much and always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, working in her yard, and eating ice cream.  She lived in Dallas prior to moving to Wills Point in 1977. She was a faithful member of the Wills Point Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Arizona Hendrix; husband, Solon S. “Tex” Caple, Jr. on Sept.19, 2001; three sisters, Francis Allen on February 24, 1988, Pauline Cerul on June 24, 1992, and Natalie Scott on June 30, 2001. 
Survivors include her sons, Jay Caple and wife, Deborah of Arlington. And Charlie Caple and wife, Sara of Alba; grandchildren, Jazmine Farmer and husband, Ronnye of Moore, Okla., Carlos Caple of Bozeman, Mt., Carlea Caple and Andie Caple, bothof Arlington; great-grandchildren, J.C. Farmer, and Scout Farmer; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Charlie Caple, Jay Caple, Carlos Caple, Ronnye Farmer, J.C. Farmer, Doyle Ethridge and Dwight Keith.
Honorary pallbearer was Paul Bailey.
