Drama club hosting ‘Goonies’ quote-along
The Wills Point High School Drama Club has announced that it will be host a quote-along to the 1985 movie classic, “The Goonies”.
In a press release announcing the fundraiser event, organizers stated, “’Hey You GUYS!’ Don't miss ‘The Goonies’ quote-along Dec. 9 at 7:00 at the WPHS campus. To kick things up a notch we're giving away a "Goonies bag" filled with props (including a Baby Ruth candy bar!) to make the screening truly interactive.
“The quotes that we all know by heart will be subtitled on the screen so we can shout them out in unison. To get the whole thing started we will have a truffle-shuffle contest with the winner going home with a gallon of rocky road ice cream.”
Admission is $2, including the "Goonies bag." All proceeds will go to the theatre scholarship fund.
