Joann Dunn

1930-2016

 

Memorial services will be held at a later date for Joann Dunn, 86, of Wills Point. 

She passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, at her residence. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She was born May 21, 1930, in McKinney, to Joe Wade Bell and Lillie Maude Sams Bell.  She was raised in Plano, where she attended public school.  

On April 15, 1949, she married A.D. Dunn in McKinney.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed embroidering.  She lived in Lucas prior to moving to Wills Point 17 years ago. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, A.D. Dunn on Jan. 10, 1986; daughter, Sheila Dunn in 1956; son, Stephen Dunn on Aug. 1, 2009, and all her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmie Dunn and wife, Terri, of Blue Ridge and Ricky Dunn, of Wills Point; daughters, Sharon Vaquera, of Wichita, Kansas and Rebecca Hood and husband Bill of Terrell; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
