Emory Rains closed out the Lady Tigers with more sharp play, playing up to their rankings by finishing the sweep with a 25-17 set win.
Wills Point bounced back just days later, improving their district record to 1-4 overall with a three set win over the Brownsboro Bearettes Oct. 7.
The Lady Tigers prevailed in a marathon first set against Brownsboro, taking a one set to none lead 31-29.
