Graveside services for Evelyn Maxine Loving, 89, of Wills Point were held Sept. 24, 2016, at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas.
Services were under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away Wednesday night, Sept. 21, 2016, in Sunnyvale.
She was born July 1, 1927 in Dallas, the daughter of Jesse J. Dyess and Evvie Lee Craft Dyess. She was raised in Dallas and graduated from Sunset High School.
On Aug. 5, 1946, she married Elmer J. Loving in Lufkin. Ms. Loving was employed by various companies as a bookkeeper. In 1991, she retired from Pritchett’s Jewelry Casting Company in Terrell. Prior to moving to Lake Tawakoni in 1970, she lived in Dallas.
She enjoyed working crossword puzzles in ink, watching NASCAR racing, feeding her cats and birds and taking care of her dog, Chico. She loved her family very much, especially her grandson, Matthew.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Evvie Dyess; husband, Elmer J. Loving on Nov. 28, 2005; brother, Jesse E. Dyess; two sisters-in-law, Myrl Temple and Inez Craft and husband, George.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Collier and husband, Richard of Wills Point; brother, Jack Dyess of Fort Worth; and a grandson, Matthew Collier, of Wills Point.
Pallbearers were Matthew Collier, Randall Dyess, David Oberle and Richard Gonzales.
Honorary pallbearers were Alan Dyess, Kenneth Dyess and Richard Dyess
