The Rockwall High School Robotics Team 1296 recently completed an impressive feat, winning first overall at the 2016 Texas Robotics Invitational in Houston, the Chairman’s Award at the Dallas Regionals and first overall at the Texas UIL State Robotics Competition in Austin. The team, dubbed the Full Metal Jackets, includes one student with local ties in soon to be Rockwall HS junior Brandon Taylor. Taylor is the grandson of Danny and Joyce Harris of Wills Point.
