Mildred Naughtin 1932-2016
Funeral services for Mildred Virginia “Ginger” Naughtin, 84, of Grand Saline, formerly of Wills Point, were held June 16, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Jason Clark officiating.
Graveside service followed at Resthaven Memorial Park in Corsicana.
She died June 10, 2016, in Grand Saline.
Mrs. Naughtin was born Jan. 22, 1932, in Kerens, the daughter of Franklin Harold Trantham Sr. and Mary Lee Lonsford Trantham.
On May 31, 1960, she married Daniel John Naughtin in San Angelo.
She was formerly employed as a seamstress in Jacksonville and also a furniture sales person.
She was lovingly known by her family as Ginger. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She lived in Wills Point for several years prior to moving to Grand Saline.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and loved going to church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin Harold and Mary Lee Trantham; husband, Daniel John Naughtin; two brothers, Tom Trantham and John Trantham; and a sister, Frances Freer.
She is survived by a son, Jim Brantley and wife Cindy of Wills Point; two granddaughters: Brandi Brantley and Natalie Tucker and husband Lance; six great-grandchildren, Brittaney Woods, Lindsey Gibson, Averi Brown, Lauren Tucker, Landon Tucker and Laklyn Tucker; brother, Frank H. Trantham, Jr. and wife Irma of Bullard; three sisters, Audrey Bates of Rochester, N.Y.; Evelyn Council of Duncan, Okla., and Lavanda Minyard of Seminole, Okla.; step-grandson: Jason Clark and wife Brenna of Temple; step-granddaughter, Mandy Morones and husband Adrian of Wills Point; five step great-grandchildren, Cole Clark, Cailin Clark, Collin Clark, Alexa Morones and Austin Morones; and
loving nieces, nephews and friends
