Jerri Flowers 1949-2016
Funeral services for Jerri Lynne Flowers, 67, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Rod Brewer officiating.
Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
Mrs. Flowers died May 9, 2016, at Presbyterian Hospital in Rockwall.
She was born April 15, 1949, in Dallas, the daughter of George Moore and Billie Louise Tucker Moore. She was raised in East Dallas and graduated from Crozier Tech High School in 1967. On April 11, 1981, she married James Flowers in Lewisville.
She was employed by General Mills as a sales representative for 27 years, retiring in 2014. She lived in Keller prior to moving to Wills Point 27 years ago.
She enjoyed painting, gardening and reading. She loved her family very much and always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Family Cathedral Church in Mesquite.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Moore and Billie Moore Morgan; son, Jimmy Flowers Jr.; brother, Mardie Moore; two sisters, Donna Kay Mote and Marsha Morgan; and step-dad, Raymond Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, James Flowers of Wills Point; two sons, David Moore of Austin and Ricky Flowers and wife, Mary, of Wills Point; two daughters, Kathy A. Zacca and husband, Shaun, of Austin and Traci Flowers of Wills Point; four brothers, Jeff Moore, Rodney Moore, Allen Morgan and Randy Moore; five sisters, Suni Williams, Susan Thompson, Sissy Morgan, Jan Ward and D.T. Stanley; 14 grandchildren; Daniel Zacca, Katrina Zacca, Kaitlyn Zacca, Chance Beck, April Flowers, James Flowers III, Adam Davis, Dustin Davis, Kristen Davis, Chris Flowers, Ricky Flowers Jr., Amber Flowers, Melissa Flowers and Meagan Flowers; and three great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Zacca, Logan Zacca and Maci Zacca.
Pallbearers are David Moore, Shaun Zacca, Allen Morgan, Randy Moore, Chance Beck, Rodney Moore, Jeff Moore and Danny Zacca.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 13.
