The Talent Box to hold auditions

Auditions for parts in Rogers Hammerstein's musical "Annie Get Your Gun" will be held at The Talent Box at 3 p.m. on May 8 and at 6:30 p.m. on May 9. 

Melinda Bass of Wills Point will direct this production. Six men, two women, six children and 15 extra men and women are needed to fill the cast, Bass said.
The story, "Annie Get Your Gun" is a musical with lyrics and music by Irvin Berlin and a book by Dorothy Fields and her brother Herbert Fields.  It is a fictionalized version of the life of Annie Oakley (1860-1926), a sharpshooter who starred in Buffalo Bill's Wild West, and her romance with sharpshooter Frank Butler.  Production dates are June 10, 11, 12, 17 and 18.
