NTHS chapter inducts six in inaugural class

The newly formed Wills Point chapter of the National Technical Honor Society inducted six members, Grace Felan, Emma Adkins, Jordan Adriaenssens, Jordan Graham, Harley Hall and Meghin Webb, in a ceremony Feb. 29.

On Feb. 29, Wills Point High School had its first induction

ceremony for the newly formed chapter of the National Technical Honor

Society.

For over 30 years, NTHS has honored the achievements of leading

CTE students, provides scholarships, and cultivates excellence in today’s

highly competitive, skilled workforce. NTHS is comprised of top students

from WPHS Career and Technology Student Organizations such as FCCLA, FFA

and SkillsUSA.

Six WPHS students were selected to be part of this inaugural class: junior Grace Felan, and seniors Emma Adkins, Jordan Adriaenssens, Jordan Graham, Harley Hall and Meghin Webb.

The Honorable Mayor Turner addressed the students and assisted the NTHS

advisors (Donna Rowland and Cheryl Kinney) and Jim Lamb, WPHS Principal

during the induction. Each new member was awarded a certificate and a pin.

Senior were awarded stoles that will be worn at graduation this year.
