FFA Showteam excels at Four States Fair

The Wills Point FFA Showteam headed east this past week competing at the Four States Fair in Texarkana, Ark.

The Showteam brought home honors and numerous accolades for their performance during the fair.

The Junior Show opened up Sept. 11 with the Junior Brangus Show.

Wills Point FFA team member Tori Goggans won third place with her Class 4 Brangus heifer.

D.J. Wood then competed with his Class 3 Red Brahman heifer and won first place. He then returned to the ring during the Champion drive to win Reserve Grand Champion.

Krista Lambeth entered the Santa Gertrudis show with her Class 3 heifer winning third place.

The Sept. 12 competition started out with Kaden Morris entering the ring in Class 2 Angus heifers and winning first place.

In Class 4, Logan Morris won first place with his Angus heifer and Kaden Morris won third place. Both brothers returned to the ring for the Grand Champion drive with Logan Morris winning the show with Grand Champion Angus.

The Four States Fair Open Show started out Sept. 14 with great success for the Wills Point FFA chapter.

In the Open Angus show Kaden Morris won first place with his Class 2 Angus heifer. Class 4 brought Logan Morris to the ring with his Angus heifer winning first place followed by Kaden winning third place.

The brothers returned to the ring with their first place Class 1 and Class 4 Angus heifers for the Champion drive with Logan winning Grand Champion and Kaden Morris winning Reserve Champion.

In the Open Brangus show, Tori Goggans won second place in Class 4 and then returned to the ring for the Grand Champion Drive. D.J. Wood then entered the ring with his Red Brahman heifer in Class 3 winning first place. D.J. returned to the ring for the Grand Champion drive.

Krista Lambeth closed out the show with her Santa Gertrudis heifer, winning second place in Class 3.
