Lady Tigers host annual volleyball tournament

The Wills Point Lady Tigers will get to enjoy the comforts of home this weekend, welcoming a slew of teams from all over East Texas for the annual Coca Cola Attack ‘Em Volleyball Tournament on Aug. 21-22.

Teams from Caddo Mills, Kaufman, Quinlan, Van, Chapel Hill, Sulphur Springs, Terrell, Crandall, Commerce, Tx. High, West Rusk, Paris, Scurry and Mineola are scheduled to be in attendance.

Pool play is scheduled to run the entire first day of the tournament, with teams divided into four separate brackets: blue, red, white and gold. Pool play matchups scheduled to be played in the main gym include:

-Wills Point vs. Chapel Hill, 8 a.m.

-Sulphur Springs vs. Terrell, 9 a.m.

-Chapel Hill vs. Sulphur Springs, 10 a.m.

-Wills Point vs. Terrell, 11 a.m.

-Chapel Hill vs. Terrell, 12 p.m.

-Wills Point vs. Sulphur Springs, 1 p.m.

-Crandall vs. Commerce, 2 p.m.

-Harmony vs. Tx. High, 3 p.m.

-Crandall vs. Harmony, 4 p.m.

-Commerce vs. Tx. High, 5 p.m.

-Commerce vs. Harmony, 6 p.m.

-Crandall vs. Tx. High, 7 p.m.

The top two teams out of each respective bracket will move on to compete in the Championship Bracket, while the third and fourth place teams in each bracket will compete in the Consolation Bracket
