Geraldine Tyler 1928-2015
Graveside service for Geraldine Mae Tyler, 86, of Weatherford, formerly of Wills Point, was held Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point with Pastor Adam Williams officiating. Services are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away early Saturday morning, Aug. 8, 2015, in Ft. Worth.
Geraldine was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Abilene, the daughter of Andrew Jerd White and Sally Mae Jones White. She was raised in Abilene and in 1945, she graduated from Abilene High School. On May 18, 1946, she married Jesse Craig Tyler in Abilene. Geraldine was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Abilene for over 30 years, retiring in 1975. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Geraldine lived in Abilene prior to moving to Wills Point in 1990. For the past five years she has lived in Weatherford. Geraldine was a member of Lakeview Church at Lake Tawakoni.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerd and Sally White; husband, Jesse Craig Tyler on Dec. 3, 2000, and a brother, Roy White.
Geraldine was survived by son, Jimmy Tyler and wife, Jeane, of Weatherford; daughter, Linda Donahoo and husband, Nelson, of Fuquay Varina, N.C.; two grandsons, Philip A. Donahoo and wife, Amy, of Wake Forest, N.C.; Mark A. McGlaun, of Dallas and four great-grandchildren, Tanner Donahoo, Hayden Donahoo, Makenzie McGlaun and Andrew McGlaun.
