Harold Miller 1939-2015

Memorial services for Harold Wayne Miller will be held at the Hill Top Baptist Church in Frankston with Bro. George Folmar officiating.  Time and date are pending.

Harold Wayne was born Oct. 18, 1939, in the Hayden Community south of Wills Point.  He passed away on May 19, 2015, in El Dorado, Ark.  He was the son of Willie Ambers Miller and Anna Lucile Harris Miller.  Harold Wayne was a self-employed carpenter and worked throughout the East Texas area. Playing music and singing with family and friends were a great love of his.  He was a member of the Hill Top Baptist Church in Frankston.

Harold Wayne was preceded in death by his wife Alma Jo “Jodie” Smiley Miller; his parents, Will and Lucile Miller; three brothers, Billy H. Miller, Randolph G. Miller and Roger Allen Miller; and one sister, Frances “Dot” King.

He is survived by two daughters, Paula Bethrum and husband, John of Kaufman and Christie Marie Goar of Frankston; son-in-law, Steven Boggs of Frankston; five grandchildren, Jessica Bethrum, William Rocky Miller, Trinity Paige Boggs, Austin Boggs and Mason Alton Boggs; three sisters, Mary Ann Rea and husband Carl of Providence Village, Carol Smith of Wills Point and Gayle Stanton and husband, Blake of Union Valley and special friend and caregiver, Michelle Blackburn of El Dorado, Ark.

He is also survived by members of the Smiley Family of Frankston as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
