Funeral services for Harold Ray Foster, 77, of Wills Point, were held Friday, May 8, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor Michael Williams off ciating. Interment will follow at
White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point. He passed away Monday morning, May 4, 2015, in Wills Point. Ray was born Nov. 23, 1937, in Edgewood, the son of John Foster and Audrey Faye Reed Foster. He was raised in Edgewood, where he attended public school. In 1959, he married Shirley Wallace. He lived in Edgewood prior to moving to Wills Point in 1968. Ray retired from Texas Instruments, where he was an electrician. He enjoyed farming, bulldozer work, NASCAR races and rebuilding tractors. Ray attended the Edgewood Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Audrey Foster; and four brothers, Jimmy Foster, Mack Foster, Doug Foster and Larry Gene Foster. He is survived by a son, Butch Foster and wife, Trina of Mabank, two daughters, Debbie Burrow and husband, Bobby of Wills Point; and Christie Montgomery and husband, Mark of Van Alstyne; two brothers, Marvin Foster and wife, Gertie of Edgewood and Lloyd Foster and wife, Susan of Wills Point; mother of his children, Shirley Foster of Wills Point; eight grandchildren, Bobby Burrow, Dustin Foster, Rachel Layne, Tess Montgomery, Rebekah Montgomery, Melissa Foster, Shanta Riddoch and Brittany Hutchison; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were David Foster, Davy Foster, Mark Foster, Johnny “Glenn” Foster, Dyde Manning and Doug Hollje. Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Foster and Chester Hall.
